Planning a family cruise and wondering what a week at sea is really like? Our 7-day family cruise took us from exciting onboard activities to magical port adventures in Roatán, Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Here’s a sneak peek at our favorite moments — and stay tuned for the full day-by-day stories and tips for families!
Our 7-day family cruise was off to an incredible start! From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with music and smiles, and it was such a joy to meet up with the rest of our family joining us. Sailing away together was the perfect kickoff, and dinner that night was filled with laughter, excitement, and the start of so many memories.
The first full day at sea was all about fun in the sun and exploring the ship! The kids couldn’t get enough of the water park and slides, and we discovered some amazing dining experiences that made the day extra special. It was a day of unlimited fun.
On our first port stop, Roatán, Honduras, we were blown away by the beauty and warmth of the island. From stunning beaches to hidden gems off the beaten path, it was a day full of adventure, wildlife encounters, and family moments that we’ll always treasure.
Harvest Caye, Belize was another day of sun and adventure! The kids had a blast playing in the pool and splash area. The whole family enjoyed exploring the island and its wildlife experience. There were even a few brave moments that added a little thrill to the day — a perfect mix of excitement and family fun.
Arriving in Costa Maya, Mexico, we had an unforgettable adventure that included some very special animal encounters. It was a day full of proud moments, laughter, and little victories for everyone. By the time we returned to the ship, the kids were completely worn out — a sure sign of a day well spent!
In Cozumel, Mexico, crystal-clear waters, floating obstacle courses, water slides, and endless family fun made for a memorable penultimate port. Being together as a family, enjoying every moment, made it one of the most special days of the trip.
Our final day at sea was a mix of relaxation and celebration. The kids spent their last hours enjoying the splash pad, and we all came together for one last dinner at sea. Laughter, giggles, and one last evening with the cousins made for the perfect ending to an unforgettable cruise.
